Rescue Boats

ZODIAC fully inflatable and semi-rigid inflatable boats have been present on world's oceans for more than 50 years.

Thanks to ZODIAC's patented inflatable keel design and ZODIAC's unique ability to combine the buoyancy of inflatable tubes with superb deep- V rigid hulls, the ZODIAC range of rescue-boats is the most adapted to the various sea conditions vessels are likely to meet.

High performance hulls deliver maximum speed and manoeuvrability in all conditions, I essential in emergency rescue situations.

ZODIAC's rescue boats meet the SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) Chapter III requirements, and have been tested according to the latest A689 (I 7) IMO (International Maritime Organisation) Resolution.

All inflatable collars are manufactured with strong, high visible orange, approved neoprene-hypalon fabric.

All ZODIAC rescue boats come complete with a protection cover. The mandatory emergency equipment pack is secured in a watertight locker. Bow and aft towing V, 50 m towing line, ladder, righting line, rescue quoit with 30 m line, boat hook, search light and sea anchor are also provided with each boat.

Foolproof Single-Point Lifting System*

ZODIAC's approved on and off load release hook associated with unique single-point lifting mast allows quicker emergency launching and easier retrieval, enabling "one-handed" engagement of the lifting device, even in rough seas.

(*Not available on 4 person boat).

The exclusive ZODIAC slide-on tube system for semi-rigid boats allows removal of the tube from the hull for easier maintenance, and replacement with a spare tube if necessary, thereby eliminating costly down-time.

ZODIAC rescue boats may also be delivered with different deck arrangements and complementary equipment as propeller guard, selfrighting system on request.

SOLAS approved engines adapted to the various sizes of rescue boats are also available on request.
