| Throw-over
Liferafts
By combining ultra-modern materials
and up to the minute design and manufacturing techniques
with over 50 years of experience, ZODIAC has
created the world's most recently approved range of
throw-over liferafts to meet the latest SOLAS
requirements.
Approval trials were carried out
according to the last IMO A689 (17) Resolution
and were witnessed by the major Maritime Administrations.
Whatever your National flag is,
ZODIAC throw-over liferafts will meet your needs.
An intensive Research and Development
programme ensures any new advances in life-saving technology
or proposed changes in legislation are investigated
and incorporated keeping ZODIAC throw-over liferafts
always one step ahead.
An Extensive Range:
4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25 persons and the forthcoming
50 and 2 x 50 persons
Also Coastal liferafts for 4 to
25 persons conforming to most national safety regulations.
Advanced Features of Zodiac Throw-over
Liferafts:
Manufactured with a durable polyurethane coated
fabric, all ZODIAC throw-over liferafts are assembled
using the advanced ZODIAC hot assembly technique,
Themobonding.
Being computer-controlled, Thermobonding
eliminates the inconsistencies inherent in the old-fashioned
gluing methods still used by other manufacturers.
The fabric's chemical nature and
the Thermobonding process make ZODIAC throw-over
liferafts especially inert to ageing factors in marine
environment.
Due to the fabric weight and structure,
ZODIAC throw-over liferafts are easy to service
and require light, short sized but remarkably strong,
glass reinforced plastic (GRP) containers. All ZODIAC
throw-over liferafts can be dropped from up to 36 meters.*
*50 and 2 x 50 persons throw-over
liferaft will be up to 18 meters.
