Purpose

Standard Issue to All Navy Personnel Worldwide as required for working on deck or near water duties. This compact single stole lifejacket is easily donned by unfolding from its pouch, slipping over the wearers head and inflating by means of the manually operated gas mechanism. When not in use the pouch can be re-positioned around the waist making it very convenient for the wearer.

Description

The lifejacket consists of a single chamber, a waist belt with buckle closure and an integral lifting loop. The folded lifejacket is stowed in a small waist worn valise and closed with press fasteners. It is fitted with a manual inflation system, oral tube and whistle. Manufactured using high frequency welding from entirely synthetic abrasion resistant durable materials.
