Challenger Assault Troop Lifejackets

Designed for use in Amphibious Operations and capable of supporting Combat Personnel plus 40kgs of equipment. Easily discarded whilst on the move by removal of a release pin. The low profile design is compatible with most webbing pattern and is able to integrate with Paratrooper harnesses.

For use in All Geographical Areas of Extreme and Adverse Climates. Designed to perform after storage, at temperatures between -30C and + 40C, and whe worn in sea water at -1C or above. 

Features

  • The Lifejacket comprises of a welded, high tenacity coated polyamide inflatable stole. The stole is fixed within a covert green retaining pouch complete with stowable, high visability patches which may be deployed or stowed as operational conditions dictate.
  • Comfort handles, buddy line and whistle are fitted as standard.
  • The stole is inflated via a manually operated system and gas cylinder. Also an oral tube is available for oral inflation or top-up/back-up.
  • All contained within a high abrasion resistant, heavy duty outer zipped valise worn about the neck and secured zround the body by a 50mm webbing adjustable harness. The harness is fixed with a quick release pin for swift removal.
  • There is an optional deployable sprayhood inside the cover to protect the wearers face and airways.
